What types of diving experiences do you offer?
Created by divers, for divers. This is the only Scuba Lodge offering all-inclusive Dive+Stay packages 100% dedicated to divers on the Pacific coast of Panama. We specialized in Advanced Expeditions and we dive all areas of the National Park, including the Archipelagos of Contreras and other remote dive sites. Perfect for advanced and experienced divers looking for a full immersion into the underwater world of Coiba National Park. To fully enjoy Coiba National Park, we recommend a minimum of 30 dives and PADI Advanced Open water certification.  


What marine life I expect to see?
Coiba National Park is home to diverse marine life, pelagic species, schools of fish, sea turtles, and of course, sharks! Each dive offers a unique opportunity to encounter the beauty of the underwater world. Every season bring different encounters, from whale shark to bull shark, hammerhead to humpback whale, there's never a dull dive in Coiba's rich waters. Dolphins, frogfish, giant manta rays, devil ray / mobulas, sea horse, just to name a few...


How far is your place to Coiba National Park?
Thanks to our location, we are the closest gateway to Coiba National Park from the mainland. We can get there within 20 minutes boat ride, giving us the chance to be the first ones and the last ones to leave the National Park. We love pinnacle diving and luckily, we are located right in front of the Archipelagos of Contreras.  


Can you organize transport to your lodge?
Absolutely. We take care of all the logistics for you with our private or shared transport, from anywhere in he country for a hassle-free holiday.


Do I need to bring my own diving equipment?
While we provide high-quality diving gear (XDeep) free of charge - you are welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer. Let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs.


How do I book a diving trip?
You can easily book your diving trip by contacting us directly by email at info@thearkdivers.com. We recommend reserving in advance, especially during peak seasons. 


What is the divers-to-guide ratio?
We love to keep it small and personal. Therefore, we only do small groups of divers. With a max of 5 divers for a guide (6 max if requested), this ensure a safe and personalized service for everyone. 


How many dives are included in your Dive+Stay all-inclusive packages?
All of our Dive+Stay all-inclusives packages includes up to 3 dives per day for no extra charge. This gives plenty of time to enjoy the underwater world of Coiba National Park. From 3 nights & 2 days to 6 nights & 5 days, we have a package for everyone's needs.

How many meals are included in your Dive+Stay all-inclusive package?
We take care of all 3 daily meals. From a healthy breakfast at the lodge, overlooking Contreras Islands, to snacks and fruits whilst enjoying a surface interval on some of the beaches of Coiba National Park and a healthy & balanced group dinner. You'll get plenty of fuel to enjoy your diving holiday with fresh and fusion cuisine. We gather to allergies & special dietary restrictions.
 

What is the best time of year to dive Coiba National Park?
Diving Coiba National Park is great all year round. The reason for that is that every season brings up different diving conditions, currents and migration species. We have many returning guests coming to enjoy and experience the diving at different times of year. Note that the heaviest months of rain here on the Pacific coast of Panama are october and november. Therefore, our operations are closed in that period.
